MILLWALL kick-off their 2012-13 campaign with a Capital One Cup tie against League One new-boys Crawley Town.

The Lions will be without skipper Paul Robinson, who is also expected to be unavailable for Saturday’s league opener against Blackpool, as he recovers from a double hernia operation.

But fellow centre-half Shane Lowry is fully fit having completed 45 minutes in the pre-season victory against Southend United last Tuesday.

With Tamika Mkandawire (knee) still lacking match fitness, new signing Danny Shittu could be in line for his second debut for the club.

Fellow summer signing Karleigh Osborne will also be included in the matchday squad, having completed 90 minutes in the Lions’ previous three pre-season fixtures.

Millwall will, however, be without duo David Forde and Andy Keogh, who are both on international duty with the Republic of Ireland.

Striker Darius Henderson should be available having overcome a minor niggle, while the likes of Dany N’Guessan and John Marquis will be pushing for a place in the side after staking a claim can you buy celebrex over the counter during the pre-season campaign.

Summer signings Scott Malone and Chris Taylor are both expected to start for the Lions following their moves from Bournemouth and Oldham Athletic respectively.

Winger James Henry has fully recovered from a knee injury sustained during the pre-season tour of Ireland, while midfielder Liam Trotter should continue in the centre of midfield having overcome a previous thigh problem.

Forgotten man Therry Racon could also be involved having recovered from an ankle injury sustained in the first round of last season’s League Cup.

Crawley’s trip to Millwall will be Richie Barker’s first game in charge following his appointment from Bury.

Crawley, who beat the Lions 2-0 in a pre-season friendly two weeks ago, could give debuts to a selection of new signings with goalkeeper Paul Jones, defenders Mark Connolly and Mat Sadler and midfielders Shaun Cooper and Nicky Adams all joining over the summer.

Former Den favourite Gary Alexander is expected to lead on the line and will be looking to add to his pre-season goal against the Lions last month.
