MILLWALL have announced that Mick Harford has joined Steve Lomas’ coaching staff following the departure of Joe Gallen to Wolves.
Harford returns to South London having spent a brief spell with the Lions during the 2005-06 season. The 54-year-old has also worked for Wimbledon, Luton Town, Nottingham Forest, Swindon Town, Rotherham United, Colchester United, QPR and MK Dons during his management and coaching career. His exact role is yet to be determined.
Gallen, meanwhile, has been appointed as Jackett’s assistant at Molineux. Wolves’ head of recruitment, Kevin Thelwell, said: “Joe was an integral part of what Kenny achieved when they were together at Millwall.
“They know each other very well having both worked at QPR prior to that. We anticipate Joe is going to be a very important part of Wolves going forward. He is a really good fit for Kenny, and a really good fit for Wolves, and we are delighted that he has joined us.”
