Preview: Barnsley vs. Millwall

MILLWALL are expected to name an unchanged side for Saturday’s visit to Barnsley, buoyed by their thumping midweek FA Cup victory .

With Alan Dunne and Shane Lowry set to serve the second of their three-match suspensions, Darren Ward and Scott Barron are likely to feature at the back as they did in The Lions’ 5-0 win over Dagenham & Redbridge on Tuesday night.

Darius Henderson and Spurs loanee Harry Kane formed a fruitful partnership together up front against the Daggers, scoring five goals between them, so both seem likely to start at Oakwell. Meanwhile, Shaun Batt could be involved in a league fixture for the first time in 18 months as he continues his return to fitness.

Millwall are still without long-term absentees Tamika Mkandawire (knee) and Therry Racon (ankle).

Barnsley boss Keith Hill has the luxury of a striking selection headache, with new signing Chris Dagnall, in-form Andy Gray and nine-goal Craig Davies all vying for starting positions.

Barnsley will be missing midfielder Jacob Butterfield, who is out for the season, whilst Manchester United loanee Danny Drinkwater has left the Tykes to join Leicester.
